This is a darling 10k solid gold ring, antique from the Victorian era, featuring red spinel and seed pearls. At some point along the way, one of the red spinel stones was replaced by a perfectly-matched paste (glass) stone, the other original to time - but we just let that add to the magic around here. A lady always keeps her secrets. The ring band has sweet engraved motifs and the gemstones and pearls are set in claw prongs, be still my heart. With over 100 years of age on it, the gold on this piece has that buttery yellow patina that you only see in old gold. This patina is left intact and up to the buyer as to whether it should be polished off or not.
